ANTI-ODOUR: The mattress cover is made with pure silver which inhibits the growth of any bacteria or dustmites in the baby's mattress. X-Static eliminates 99.9% of bacteria in less than one hour of exposure. Most other anti-microbial fabrics test over 48 hours & still do not reach this level of effectiveness! The hotter & wetter the environment, the more effective X-Static becomes. This is perfect for baby's mattresses as bacteria is more prelevant in moist and warm environments.
THERMODYNAMIC: Silver is a highly reflective and conductive element. As it is woven into this unique mattress covering it will keep baby comfortable in all temperatures. Much like a silver spoon in a cup of hot tea, X-Static will conduct the heat from baby's skin to the ambient air, thereby helping to prevent baby from overheating. FSIDS urge parents to prevent their baby from overheating.
ANTI-STATIC: Silver instantly dispates electrostatic charges. At the present time this is the only baby mattress available with such properties.
SAFE & NATURAL: X-Static is made with pure silver which is a naturally occurring element. There are no chemicals and no fear of toxicity. Silver is one of the safest substances to babies and has no side effects.
PERMANENT: X-Static is not a surface treatment on baby's mattress. The silver is a physical part of the fibre. The silver's performance does not diminish over time. X-Static has been tested for more than 250 washes with no reduction in anti-bacterial performance.
MOISTURE TRANSFER: X-Static enhances the natural movement of moisture through materials the same way as the body does - by using evaporation.
